Kathy Gupton, a certified nursing assistant at The Waters of Cheatham skilled nursing facility, was honored Friday, November 17, as the Tennessee Health Care Association’s (THCA) 2017 Caregiver of the Year. Tennessee State elected officials and others gathered at her workplace to recognize her 34 years of continued dedication to patients and residents at The Waters of Cheatham. She received a trophy and vacation package as part of Nursing Home Caregiver Appreciation Day. THCA annually recognizes one individual who exemplifies quality in the provision of 24-hour nursing home care within each of its five districts across the state. Gupton represented the Nashville District.
